It's 2-fold. 50% of my time will go towards helping Lisa out with getting her scheduling under control as well as assisting with trainings and workshops . The other time will be spent hyping the team and clients up for all the amazing things you all have to offer. My goal is to help alleviate any internal communication issues, give you all time back to be creative in your respective roles and, hype our clients up with product offerings.

We’re interested in learning more about your background. Can you tell us more about your career journey?

Yea so I started in social media for Uber for about a year. After leaving I moved to 1871 where I was admin/ Tom's assistant, hence my connection to Holistic, for about a year. After that I moved to LA where I branched off and did my own thing for a while, flipping furniture paid the bills for a while. I also worked with a few startups and media companies doing marketing, brand strategy, e-commerce, operations and social media. While doing that I began working for Lyft in operations, led their SoCal Black ERG and worked closely with the I & D team on SoCal partnerships, training and workshops.I stayed there for about 4 1/2 yrs and now Im here! I still flip furniture and am currently working on making my own pillows, blankets and candles as well as starting a "mommy and me" boutique and blog.

Let’s switch gears. What excites you about life? What gives you hope? What keeps you up at night?

Knowing that everyday will teach me something new and bring new possibilities is exciting for me but being a new mom is definitely the ultimate cheat code to hope, faith and all things good. Quite literally the best thing I've ever experienced. What keeps me up? Besides my new found love for Real Housewives (don't judge lol) whatever it is that day that has been my creative outlet. I'm a self-taught artist so most of the time I end up sketching or designing interior spaces.

What's the most helpful piece of advice you've ever received, and why?

"Be intentional with your space and time because the promises you keep to yourself are key." Being intentional is very big in the yoga world and I realized by doing this I can create better experiences and relationships with other people which creates more opportunity for me to amplify my impact in the world. It also reminds me to be realistic and accountable for what energy I put out there. Karma!

If you had an extra hour each day, what would you do with it?

Spend it with my baby!

Lastly, what do you do for fun?

DIY! Paint furniture. Yoga.

Thank you for all that you do, Khadijah!
