Where Are They Now? Elda Baez

1) When were you with us at Holistic?

I was part of the Holistic family since the early days! We didn't have an office space yet so going to tour spaces and choosing one in itself was exciting! (There were only 3 desks!!!)

2) What have you been up to since your time at Holistic?

Since I left Holistic, I worked at the nation's largest innovation center supporting the Engagement and Events teams through the pandemic to support physical product startups. Having access to training and equipment, I also launched The Migrant Soul, a lifestyle business of laser cut goods. Through sales of some of these products, I was able to raise funds to help DREAMERS cover the cost of their DACA applications.

3) What do you like most about what you’re doing now? 

I recently took a quick break to reset and am currently preparing to start my next adventure with an amazing organization! I definitely enjoyed being home for the holidays and spending time with family.

4) What was your most memorable Holistic moment? What was the most helpful thing that you learned?

One of my favorite moments at Holistic was the Fireside Chat with Margaret Muller. Hearing her story really inspired me! And of course, who can forget about Tom playing music and dancing to closing a client!

5) Any dreams for the future?

Writing a book has always been a dream of mine and I have begun drafting some pieces of it so stay tuned!
