I will serve as the Associate Director of Client Services, ensuring high-quality relationships with our range of clients. I will also work with clients based on projects that align with my areas of competency and interests

We’re interested in learning more about your background. Can you tell us more about your career journey?

At Rutgers University, I was super involved as an undergrad student. Several of the professional staff there encouraged me to look into Higher Education as a field. I got my Master's in Higher Ed and Student Affairs from NYU. From there, I worked at George Washington University as a graduate Admissions Consultant. Wanting to work with undergraduate students, I transitioned to Georgetown University in 2016 as a Community Director of a first-year residence hall. In January 2020, I was promoted to a mid-level opportunity in Student Engagement at the university. In Fall 2020, I started an MBA program recognizing my desire to work in DEI, People & Culture, and/or Employee Engagement full-time. In September 2021, I left to pursue full-time DEI work with Holistic

Let’s switch gears. What excites you about life? What gives you hope? What keeps you up at night?

Adventure excites me! I have been to 46/50 states. Feel free to guess which ones I have left. Trader Joe's excites me, especially during pumpkin season! Every Drake album excites me!

What gives me hope - the youth, the power of education.

What keeps me up at night, hm I try not to stress about the state of the world, so something pretty low level - people not hyperlinking links in emails.

In your mind, what does the ideal employee experience look like?

The ideal employee experience looks like understanding that folks have a personal life and that we are still in a pandemic. It includes open communication and transparency - across/above/below levels and functional areas. It promotes bold ideas, collaboration, and effort + energy.

If you had an extra hour each day, what would you do with it?

With an extra hour each day, I would sleep. I try to always get 8, but an extra hour would help for sure.

Lastly, what do you do for fun?

Physical activity is fun for me - yoga, walking, boxing - any movement really. I am also enjoying cooking right now; I am learning a lot through trial and error. Lastly, making playlists to match my yoga flows (follow me on Apple Music).

Thanks for everything you do, Jaime!
