Holistic works with companies to gather and analyze information about all aspects of the employee experience, with a particular focus on creating diverse and inclusive workforces where employees are treated consistently and fairly. Job Overview
Holistic uses data to build customized solutions and leverage technology to help take our clients to new heights. Holistic is looking for a Data Lead with high-level experience in analytics, statistics, and data evaluation. Candidates should have an advanced understanding and interest, in SQL, Excel, Google Sheets and the entire Google Suite, and other statistics software products. The position will include and oversee data analysis, report writing, and the construction of the infrastructure for the new business. The Data lead will work closely with the data and client teams to understand the employee life cycle and make data-driven choices. This is a management role, and direct reports will include all members of the data team.
The data lead should be data-driven, passionate about Holistic’s values, and focused on making an impact. They will have an intense curiosity and a strong desire to use data and information to better understand the workplace.
Responsibilities and Duties
Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to support Holistic’s growth
Knowledge of international company data collection requirements
Provide support in building data pipelines from various data sources (ATS/HRIS) to feed into different analytics tools
Help maintain data security and accuracy with sensitive data
Leverage multiple data sources to create customized dashboards based on client
requirements
Participate in big-picture thinking to help manage data projects/project roadmap
design
Manage the data team
Oversee data projects of Holistic’s clients
Prioritize and assist the data team in their prioritization of a minimum of
ten simultaneous projects
Help the data team to understand the best methods to use for displaying
data reports and set standards for doing so
Work directly with key clients on data-related needs
Understand the goals of the client management team to translate client
questions into data reports
Steward Holistic’s databases, tools, and other technology resources
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
Advanced education in data science or a related technical field
A passion for mining data to identify and solve problems
Experience in SQL, Excel, Google Sheets, Google Suite, and other statistical
programs
An interest in coding, primarily javascript
Experience with data visualization tools such as Google Data Studio and Tableau
An understanding of human resources systems and processes
A strong personal interest in diversity, equity, and inclusion
Management experience of some sort
Willingness to grow and learn new technical skills
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Commitment to producing clean, timely work
Commitment to the mission of Holistic and a desire to help build a world-class

Ability to manage and support a team
