Microaggressions are brief comments that might appear harmless, but transmit negative messages to the recipient. These comments may reinforce stereotypes, express discomfort toward a group and their culture, or deny the discrimination that these groups face.

Microinclusions, on the other hand, are small acts of inclusions that help involve others. These acts make people feel seen and heard by ensuring everyone has a seat at the table, while actively combating microaggressions.
