Supporting Caregivers of Special Needs Children
Holistic wants to hear about the working experiences of parents and caregivers of children with special needs due to disability or physical or mental health impairments.
Research shows that people caring for children with special needs are more likely to disengage from their work or leave the workforce entirely compared to other parent groups. Holistic wants to change this inequity by creating workplace support structures and training designed to mitigate the unique challenges parents and caregivers face. We believe workplaces can become places of support that respect the extraordinary level of care and love parents and caregivers provide.
The survey is 18 questions and should take approximately 15 to 25 minutes to complete. In addition to the survey, we’re looking for individuals to participate in focus groups to further the scope of our understanding.
