The Business Development Associate will report directly to the CEO and will work collaboratively with the Director of Operations, the Operations Associate, and the business development team.

Job Overview

Holistic’s business development associate will work closely with the CEO to identify, engage, and secure clients for Holistic. The business development associate will primarily be responsible for the creation of proposals, supplemental materials for potential clients, and drafting contracts. There may also be the opportunity to take on additional responsibilities and begin supporting the client attraction process in every fashion, including the preparation of materials, follow-up process, contract generation, and initial client onboarding processes. We are looking for a creative, passionate, and results-focused employee with strong interpersonal and communication skills and a passion for helping others and fostering strong, equitable, and fair employee experiences.

This position will be part-time for 10-15 consistent hours a week. Holistic will work with the right candidate to ensure that the schedule works for them.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Preparing proposals and supplemental materials for potential clients.

  • Copy editing and proofreading documents 

  • Creating pitch decks for business development meetings 

  • Taking notes during business development meetings

  • Drafting client agreements and addendums 

  • Building out promotional materials, including web pages and social media posts, in support of our products

  • Refining our presentations and materials in support of our sales process.

Additional responsibilities as the Associate grows in the position: 

  • Renewal support and upselling.

  • Light scheduling and expediting work to move the sales process forward.

  • Follow-ups, including setting up follow-up calls and meetings and identifying the appropriate timing to follow up with potential clients.

  • Managing our sales pipeline using technology products.

  • Working with our communications and design team to design marketing materials that will help the sales process.

  • Keeping track of success and failure and measuring key statistics around the business development process

  • Identifying new leads and working to understand the potential client base for Holistic’s products.

  • Sourcing RFPs  and ensuring they align with the services and products provided by Holistic

  • Generally supporting the entire Holistic team in creating a smoother and more evolved business development experience.

Metrics for success 

  • Handling all proposal and contract requests in an efficient and timely fashion

  • Communicating updates internally 2-3 times a week 

  • Memorializing materials and ideas on a regular basis

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Familiarity with Google Suite and willingness to learn and adopt new technologies. 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Attention to detail and commitment to producing clean, timely work.

  • Optimistic and positive attitude; willingness to roll up sleeves and get the job done.

  • Organizational skills are critical.

  • Discretion and professionalism.

  • Commitment to the mission of Holistic and a desire to build something exciting.

Salary 

$20/ hr.
