The Business Development Associate will report directly to the CEO and will work collaboratively with the Director of Operations, the Operations Associate, and the business development team.

Position Overview
As a Business Development Associate (Part-Time), you are the engine behind Holistic’s client acquisition and onboarding process. Reporting to the CEO, you will balance high-level sales strategy with meticulous execution—drafting proposals, refining pitch decks, and ensuring every client agreement is polished and precise.
As you grow, you will take ownership of the sales pipeline, sourcing new RFPs and identifying leads that align with our mission. Your goal isn’t just to support a sales cycle; it’s to evolve the entire business development experience to be smoother, more equitable, and highly effective.
Responsibilities and Duties include:
Proposal & Contract Management: Lead the creation of proposals, supplemental materials, and client agreements/addendums to secure new business.
Sales Material Development: Design and refine pitch decks, presentations, and promotional materials (web/social media) to support the sales process.
Quality Control: Serve as the primary eye for copy editing and proofreading all external-facing business development documents.
Lead Generation & Pipeline Management: Identify new leads, source RFPs, and manage the sales pipeline using CRM/technology tools.
Meeting Coordination: Support business development meetings through active note-taking and managing critical follow-up schedules.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with communications and design teams to create marketing assets and improve the overall business development experience.
Growth & Strategy Support: Assist with client renewals, upselling, and tracking success metrics to measure the effectiveness of the sales process.

Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have:
Familiarity with Google Suite, Zoom, and a willingness to learn and adopt new technologies
Experience managing sales pipelines using CRM technology
Proficiency in designing high-quality pitch decks and sales materials that translate complex ideas into engaging, brand-aligned presentations
Background in Business Development, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
Proven track record of supporting a sales or client attraction process, preferably in a consulting or professional services environment.

Compensation
The estimated pay range for this position is below. The specific rate will depend on a candidate’s qualifications and prior experience.
$20-30/ hr., with potential for commissions and full-time work.
