Intern Highlight: Hannah

We’re excited to introduce Hannah McColgan, one of our interns! Check out our recent interview with Hannah where we learn more about her role as an intern, future career goals, what she does for fun, and more!

  1. Tell us about your role as an intern at Holistic. What do you do? Who do you work with?

My role focuses on the social channels. I work with Kat, Tom, and Matthew to create content for the channels, especially LinkedIn. I really enjoy it as I learn about all the amazing work our clients are doing, as well as upcoming events. It allows me to be creative!

  2. Where do you currently go to school? What do you study? Can you share a few of your career goals with us?

I am currently a Junior at Northwestern University, studying Learning and Organization Change with a minor in Business. I am originally from Manchester, England but I am now living in Evanston for university. I am very interested in consulting and marketing. Once I graduate, I would love to stay and work in America for a couple of years.

  3. What’s something you are proud of since joining Holistic?

I am proud of working on the Parent Toolkit with Jorian, I am very excited to see this launch in the near future! It feels great to have made something that has the potential to benefit many families.

  4. What’s something that has surprised you since joining Holistic?

I joined Holistic in September 2020, due to the pandemic we have been working from home. I thought this would make it difficult to make connections with team members. However, the team was so welcoming, and I have built some great relationships with my co-workers. Everyone is friendly and willing to teach me new things and increase my knowledge in the DEI space!

  5. What do you do for fun?

I am on the Northwestern Varsity Tennis team; I love to practice and compete! Also, I enjoy cooking in the evenings with my roommates to relax after a busy day and catch up. I don’t enjoy the tidying up afterward though!

Thank you Hannah for all of your support!
